Course 3: Group Level Assessment – Distributed Team Leadership Accreditation
The course provides an introduction to the nine factor Full Range Leadership Model by focusing on the measurement of distributed or shared leadership behaviours within a group to achieve optimal group performance outcomes.
Half day workshop plus follow-through guided reading for a competency test with on-line assessment practice to achieve course completion and operational readiness. No pre-requisite MLQ Leadership courses are required.

This accreditation course enables participants to utilize 24/7 top high control data management system eTOS
to produce the 20 page MLQTeam Assessment Report – the group level companion to the MLQ360 for team leaders and team members.

Once accredited Network Members receive the MLQ e-Newsletter 360 degree Feedback three times a year. Each edition features an article of interest to practitioners along with MLQ news, products and services update information.

- Review of the status of empirical research into factors that help a group to be a high performing team.
- Examination of the Full Range Leadership Model (™ Bass and Avolio) at the group level of thinking: ways of understanding ‘team leadership’.
- The features of the MLQTeam Report and how to give feedback on it to a group.
- Establishing a group development plan on the basis of the MLQTeam Report and ways of implementing this.
- Exploring some psycho-dynamic models for group development and the relationship of the external coach / consultant to this implementation process.
Maintaining Currency
MLQ Leadership Services does not charge annual license fees. But it does expect Network Members to keep up-to-date with its range of products and services so they can be represented well. After 3 years of inactivity either attending an update session or repeating an accreditation workshop will be required to maintain accreditation status and currency.
